Accessibility
Dune Runner Electric Lawn Care wants its website to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as a practical standard.
What we do
- Write meaningful alternative text for images that carry information.
- Keep the site usable with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a skip-to-content link.
- Label form fields clearly and tie labels to their inputs.
- Maintain readable color contrast between text and its background.
- Use real, structured text and headings rather than text baked into images.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is a continuing effort, not a one-time checkbox. We review new content and features for these basics as the site grows, and we welcome feedback that helps us improve. We do not use a third-party accessibility overlay widget; we prefer to build accessibility into the site itself.
